Steamboat Springs serves up an endless list of events. In the summer,
when the Yampa Valley is saturated in green, many visitors head to
the rodeo grounds for an authentic Colorado rodeo with some of the
nation's most talented athletes. In the winter, such events as the Winter
Carnival keep visitors and locals alike entertained with crazy competitions.
Every year the annual skijouring takes place right in the heart of
Steamboat Springs. A fantastic spectator sport, competitors are pulled
on skis behind galloping horses. This event is not to be missed.
